In 2019, Chapa Madushani, a young woman with a passion for cooking, started the Bandifull YouTube channel from her own kitchen.

Her aim was simple—to share her love of cooking with the world. She made videos demonstrating how to cook Sri Lankan dishes using the rich spices and flavors of her homeland.

Her authentic recipes and warm, friendly teaching style quickly caught people's attention.

Soon, Sri Lankans from all over the world began watching her videos.

A Rapid Growth: Reaching 100K Followers

By 2020, Bandifull’s YouTube channel had over 100,000 subscribers in just one year. Chapa’s videos became popular and encouraged people to try cooking Sri Lankan dishes at home.

Her viewers loved how easy she made the recipes and were excited to try the same ingredients.

As her followers grew quickly, Chapa realized people all over the world wanted to experience real Sri Lankan flavors.

What started as a hobby became a chance to share the true taste of Sri Lanka with everyone.

Expanding Our Reach

In 2021, Bandifull expanded beyond YouTube, sharing recipes and cooking tips on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, reaching a wider audience.

As more people followed Bandifull, opportunities to work with other brands and food lovers also grew.

These partnerships helped Bandifull become known as a trusted source for high-quality, authentic Sri Lankan ingredients, setting the stage for the brand’s next big step.

By 2022, Bandifull started working with popular brands in Sri Lanka. These partnerships were important for our growth, giving us better tools to make sure our products stayed top quality.

Working with local companies helped us improve things like selecting the best teas and perfecting the Masala Chai blend.

These partnerships also made Bandifull more known in Sri Lanka.

With a strong base at home, we were ready for the next step—creating our own line of products and sharing them with the world.

Launching BandiFull Store

In 2023, BandiFull launched its online store, bandifull.com, allowing followers to purchase the same products used in Chapa’s videos.

We started with our special Ceylon Masala Chai, made from Chapa’s own recipe. It quickly became a favorite because of its rich and authentic taste.

But Bandifull.com wasn’t just about selling products. It gave us a chance to share the real taste of Sri Lanka with people around the world.

Our website allowed us to tell the story behind each ingredient, showing where it came from and why it’s special.

Expanding Our Product Range

After the success of our Ceylon Masala Chai, we expanded with products like Ceylon Cinnamon and Ceylon Tea, partnering with local farmers in Sri Lanka who prioritize quality and sustainability.

By working directly with these farmers, we supported their communities while ensuring every product meets our high standards, staying true to our roots.

This expansion focused on offering authentic products and building strong, fair relationships.
